Frequently Asked Questions

How do I schedule my initial pre-coaching planning meeting?

You can contact Rose Ann using the contact page here, by phone at 706-627-0901, or by email at roseann@roseann.biz.

What makes Rose Ann’s financial coaching different than going to a  counselor or therapist?

I am a professional financial coach trained to help individuals and couples get out of debt, build wealth and find their own financial peace. i am not a psychiatrist or a psychologist and does not treat mental health or substance abuse disorders. For these clinical needs I strongly advise seeking assistance from medical professionals.

What is the difference between one-on-one coaching and advice from books and classes like Dave Ramsey’s  Financial Peace University (FPU)?

The difference is found in detailed, personalized, one-on-one attention and time. Personal financial coaching is the most detailed and comprehensive service available. I will personally and confidentially help you develop a plan specific to your unique financial goals. Books are great, but they offer general information for a wide audience. FPU is a nine-week class offered at various churches and community centers in a group setting.

Does Rose Ann endorse debt consolidation or bankruptcy?

NO.

I will not endorse or suggest any ideology or solution that Dave Ramsey doesn’t recommend. I will provide all the necessary information and allow you to make your own informed decision.

How do I pay for coaching when I am broke?

If the cost of my coaching is a concern, please discuss it with me during your free initial consultation. I can provide information and suggest solutions.

  • Compare the cost of my coaching to the costs of bankruptcy, which can be $500—2,000 in legal fees alone
  • Compare it to the cost of on-line credit counseling, which, at $30—$50 per month for four years, would cost around $2,000.

My fees are a bargain compared to these options, AND you’ll have an achievable, customized plan to change your financial future!

Most often people are pleasantly surprised to find that financial coaching is their best investment to save money and build a happy future. Often immediate savings covers the actual price of coaching. Based on the principals I teach, you could change your life and the lives of your family for generations to come. Financial coaching gives you a high level of detailed and individual attention, considering the specifics of each person’s unique circumstances and life situation. A tailored program can potentially save untold sums of money and years of frustration. Many couples also find that addressing their financial situation reduces the stress on their marriage. I know what that’s like. I’ve been through it.

You can discuss the fees for service with Rose Ann during your initial complimentary consultation. With compassion and reason, she will provide the best value alternatives for your circumstances.

Will you set up a payment plan for my coaching fee?

No. All payments are made in advance through my website or another accepted payment method.

We are here to help people become and live debt-free. Becoming a creditor to our clients would go against the integrity of our program.

Remember, financial coaching is the most detailed, time sensitive, personal service available. It’s for people with serious matters to be worked out, with the goal to have permanent solutions provided.

If my spouse will not come, can I still work with a coach?

My policy requires both spouses attend the coaching sessions together. From experience, I’ve learned that coaching only one spouse does not work. This must be a team effort. If your spouse is not on board, sit down with them in a non-distracting environment and communicate how much you want them to participate in this solution. Suggest attending the complimentary initial consultation with Rose Ann, with no commitment necessary. If your spouse is not convinced of the value of my coaching after that, I can suggest appropriate alternatives. Understand that the coach is there to relieve stress and tension— to advocate equally for each spouse. Agreeing to attend just one session usually clears the air for healthy communication.

Are your coaching results guaranteed?

Yes, and no. Understand financial troubles usually build up over many years from circumstances both within and out of a person’s control. Coaching a person how to “fix” these problems will take time and may not be fully realized immediately.  Perhaps, more important, is the sense of peace and control a person has when they’re relieved of money worries. That’s priceless. Tracking a guarantee would be near impossible. However, I want my clients to feel 100 percent comfortable and assured they’re working with the right coach. Therefore, I offer a 100% Money Back Satisfaction Guarantee on the initial coaching assessment fee. If for any reason you’re not confident that you’re getting sincere advice that will work for you, simply ask for a refund.
